NHTSA Complaint #11433119 — 2014 FORD FOCUS

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Focus. The contact stated that after refilling the gas tank, the vehicle would stall with the check engine warning light illuminated. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V515000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the vehicle was repaired but continued to experience the failure. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer and was diagnosed but was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not under recall. The failure mileage was approximately 82,544.
