NHTSA Complaint #11432297 — 2018 HONDA CR-V

The contact owns a 2018 Honda CR-V. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, several unknown warning lights illuminated, and the vehicle lost motive power. The contact coasted the vehicle to the shoulder of the roadway and waited for a few minutes before attempting to restart the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to restart. The contact stated that the vehicle was jump started and the vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. The contact was informed to disconnect and reconnect the battery for the vehicle to resume normal operation. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 500.
