Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2016 Mercedes Benz CLA 250. The contact stated that the gear shifter failed. The contact stated that the gear shifted into neutral independently when driving at low speeds. The contact was able to switch the gear back into drive when the failure occurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The dealer performed a diagnostic; however, the contact did not have the information on the diagnostic result. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted. The VIN was not available.
