The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact stated that the vehicle had been diagnosed with excessive oil consumption by an independent mechanic. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle stalled without warning while depressing the accelerator pedal. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed him that the failure was a known issue however, the warranty on the vehicle had expired.
