Consumer Description

THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ENGINE PRESSURE SENSOR SLAVE SWITCH FAILED THREE TIMES. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE RECURRED TWO ADDITIONAL TIMES WITH THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE HOWEVER, REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE NHTSA TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 100,000.
