Consumer Description
TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 21V052000 (AIR BAGS) HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE RECALL REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. FOX AUTO GROUP CHEVROLET CADILLAC BUICK GMC & GM CERTIFIED USED (150 ROBERT DANN DR, PAINTED POST, NY 14870) WAS CONTACTED AND IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE PART WAS AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO ANOTHER DEALER. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT. *BF CONSUMER STATED PARTS WAS AVAILABLE ON FEBUARY 2021, VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED.*JB
