Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FOCUS. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT 5 MPH, THE VEHICLE WOULD STALL AND SHUDDER AS THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE CONTACT STATED NO WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BOWDITCH FORD INC (11291 JEFFERSON AVE, NEWPORT NEWS, VA 23601) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH THE TRANSMISSION CLUTCH NEEDING TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT YET REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE FAILURE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 124,000.
