Consumer Description

THE 1ST TIME THIS HAPPENED I WAS DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY GOING STRAIGHT AT 45 MPH AND HIT A BUMP AND THE TRUCK STARTED SHAKING AND THE STEERING WHEEL WAS JERKING UNCONTROLLABLE. I SLAMMED ON THE BRAKES AND IT FINALLY STOPPED SHAKING AT 25MPH. I TOOK THE TRUCK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS CALLED A DEATH WOBBLE. I COULDN'T TAKE IT IN TO BE FIXED AT FIRST BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE A SO CALLED FIX FOR IT!! I FINALLY GOT IT IN FOR REPAIR AND THEY FIXED IT , I THOUGHT. THIS SAME OCCURRENCE HAS HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES AFTER TAKING IT TO THE DEALERSHIP. YESTERDAY JAN. 16, 2021 I WAS DRIVING ON AN INTERSTATE GOING STRAIGHT AT AROUND 70 MPH AND HIT AN UNEVEN PART OF THE ROAD AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN, THE STEERING WHEEL WAS JERKING OUT OF CONTROL, THE WHOLE TRUCK WAS SHAKING TERRIBLE. YOU COULD EVEN SEE LIGHT THRU THE DOOR JAMB OF THE CHASSIS. FINALLY AFTER SLAMMING ON THE BRAKES IT STOPPED SHAKING AT 30 MPH I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS TRUCK!! I PURCHASED IT NEW AND SPENT OVER $75,000. I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL FORD CUSTOMER BUT NOW I'M SCARED TO PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM FORD AGAIN .
