TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 GMC YUKON. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VIN WAS ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V381000 (AIR BAGS) HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE RECALL REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT CALLED STERLING MCCALL BUICK GMC (10422 SOUTHWEST FWY BLDG D, HOUSTON, TX 77074, (713) 776-4600) WHERE IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE PART WAS NOT YET AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAD EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
