Consumer Description

MY 2018 F250 KING RANCH HAS STARTED THE DEATH WOBBLE AT JUST OVER 55,000 MILES. IT HAS DONE IT AT LEAST 5 TIMES NOW GOING 60-75MPH IF I HIT A BUMP OR POTHOLE. WHEN IT STARTS, THE STEERING WHEEL SHAKES BACK AND FORTH AND THE VEHICLE CAN NOT BE CONTROLLED UNTIL I SLOW TO ALMOST A COMPLETE STOP. THE MOST RECENT TIME, I ALMOST HIT A GUARD RAIL. I HAVE TAKEN THE TRUCK BACK TO MY LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP AND THEY AGREED TO REPLACE THE STEERING DAMPER, BUT TOLD ME THE PART WAS ON BACKORDER. I ENDED UP GETTING ONE FROM NAPA AND REPLACED IT ON MY OWN, I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS TRUCK. FORD HAS A PROBLEM AND REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE IT.
