Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 CHEVROLET CORVETTE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE REAR DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S SIDE RIMS CRACKED ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS, WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT HAD TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO ALLEN CHEVROLET CADILLAC (15180 S DIXIE HWY, MONROE, MI 48161) ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS TO HAVE BOTH RIMS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN. *BF*JB
