Consumer Description
VEHICLE STALLED WHILE DRIVING IN HIGHWAY TRAFFIC AT ABOUT 40 MPH. LOST ABILITY TO STEER AS POWER STEERING QUIT WORKING. THERE IS A YEAR-OLD RECALL TO FIX FUEL PUMP RELAY PROBLEMS BUT FCA, THE MANUFACTURER, HAS YET TO PROVIDE DEALERS WITH THE PARTS NEEDED TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AS WE HAVE CONTINUED TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE SINCE WE DO NOT HAVE, NOR CAN WE AFFORD, ANOTHER VEHICLE. PLEASE PRESSURE FCA/JEEP TO PROVIDE PARTS TO DEALERS IMMEDIATELY. RECALL # V62/NHTSA 19V-813.
