Consumer Description
I HAVE EXPERIENCED THE INFAMOUS FORD "DEATH WOBBLE" 7 TIMES IN THE LAST MONTH WHILE DRIVING MY SUPERBLY MAINTAINED 2017 F250 SUPER DUTY WITH 49,000 MILES ON IT. THE FIRST FORD DEALER I TOOK IT TO REPLACED THE STEERING LINKAGE DAMPER ON 9/1/2020, THEN THE DEATH WOBBLE HAPPENED AGAIN LESS THAN 2 WEEKS LATER. A SECOND FORD DEALER SAID THEY COULDN'T REPLICATE THE DEATH WOBBLE ON MY TRUCK, AND SUGGESTED I SPEND $1,340.28 ON MICHELIN TIRES THROUGH THEIR DEALERSHIP WHICH 'MIGHT' HELP WITH THE PROBLEM. THEN LAST NIGHT THE DEATH WOBBLE OCCURRED 4 TIMES ON THE HIGHWAY AT POSTED HIGHWAY SPEEDS REQUIRING ME TO MAKE SUDDEN SLOWDOWNS IN HEAVY HIGHWAY TRAFFIC. EVEN AS A PROFESSIONAL DRIVER, I COULD BARELY CONTROL THE TRUCK. THANKFULLY, MY WIFE WAS NOT DRIVING.
