Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 HONDA CIVIC. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER TURNING THE VEHICLE ON AFTER BEING PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY, THEY NOTICED THAT THE CHECK POWER STEERING SYSTEM WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL FAILED TO TURN LEFT OR RIGHT, MAYBE MOVING APPROXIMATELY A HALF OF AN INCH IN EITHER DIRECTION. THE CONTACT HAD NOT TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 115,000.
