Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 JEEP COMMANDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HIS SON WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH, THE PASSENGER'S SIDE SIDE-CURTAIN AIR BAG INADVERTENTLY DEPLOYED WITHOUT THE VEHICLE BEING INVOLVED IN A CRASH. AFTER THE FAILURE, SEVERAL ELECTRONIC GAUGES INSIDE THE VEHICLE CEASED TO OPERATE. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURES WERE NOT DETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT YET REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND LOCAL DEALER NORTH SIDE JEEP LOCATED AT 812 NORTHSIDE DR, SUMMERSVILLE, WV 26651, WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.
