Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 DODGE RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR PINION NUT LOOSENED WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH, WHICH CAUSED THE DRIVE SHAFT TO DETACH FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE CONTACT CALLED JEFF D'AMBROSIO DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP DOWNINGTOWN (1221 E LANCASTER AVE, DOWNINGTOWN, PA 19335) WHERE HE WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON HIS VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 274,000.
