Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 HONDA INSIGHT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING WHILE DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AND WAS ABLE TO DRIVE NORMAL. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON FOUR SEPARATE OCCASIONS WHILE HIS WIFE AND A FRIEND WAS DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER NOR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING, AND WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 20V314000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,000.
