Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT STATED THE DRIVER'S SIDE AND PASSENGER'S SIDE WHEEL HUB BEARINGS WERE REPLACED SEVERAL TIMES. WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH AND MAKING TURNS THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL DRY RUBBING NOISE DETECTED. THE TRACTION CONTROL AND STABILITY WARNING INDICATOR LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE WHEEL BEARING ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 80,000.
