Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD ESCAPE.. THE CONTACT PARKED THE VEHICLE WHILE RUNNING AN ERRAND AND TRIED TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE GEAR SHIFT DID NOT MOVE AT ALL WHEN SHE TRIED TO PUT IT INTO REVERSE. THE INDICATOR LIGHT STATED THE VEHICLE [XXX] IN NEUTRAL. A RELATIVE WAS ABLE TO POP THE BUSHING BACK IN FOR A TEMPORARY FIX. THE BUSHING HAD SEPARATED FROM THE TRANSMISSION. THE DEALER OR MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN CALLED YET. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 76,479.
