TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 HYUNDAI SANTA FE. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V226000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) AT ATLANTIC HYUNDAI LOCATED AT 193 SUNRISE HWY NORTH SERVICE RD, WEST ISLIP, NY 11795, (631) 587-0700. THE CONTACT STATED THAT 6,000 MILES AFTER THE REPAIR WAS COMPLETED, WHILE STARTING THE VEHICLE, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL FUEL ODOR IN THE CABIN OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE TOWED TO INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL LINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF FAILURE. UPON INVESTIGATION, THE CONTACT ASSOCIATED THE FAILURE WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V934000 (ENGINE, FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE) HOWEVER THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 39,000. *LN
