Consumer Description

I WAS DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY AT 55MPH AND STARTED TO BRAKE TO MAKE A RIGHT HAND TURN AND THE ENGINE DIED. THIS HAPPENED TWICE IN TWO DAYS. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ALONG WITH THE SLIP AND VDC LIGHT CAME ON. THIS TURNS OUT TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH NISSAN AND THEY RECALLED SOME CARS FOR IT. IT'S EITHER THE CAMSHAFT OR CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SITUATION. IM JUST GLAD I WASN'T DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE WHEN THIS HAPPENED. SHOULD BE A FIX OR RECALL ON ALL CARS AFFECTED BY THIS.
