Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 NISSAN TITAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS A TICKING SOUND COMING FROM THE ENGINE WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED. THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO INFORMED HIM THAT THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT SPOKE TO CARLOCK NISSAN OF TUPELO (3969 N GLOSTER ST, TUPELO, MS 38804) WHERE HE WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT SUBJECTED TO A RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 1,500.
