Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS SHIFTED INTO REVERSE HOWEVER, THE GEAR SHIFTER CEASED IN REVERSE. THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL DISPLAYED THAT THE GEAR SHIFTER WAS IN REVERSE GEAR WITH THE BACK UP CAMERA ACTIVATED. THE CONTACT DIALED THE NUMBER TOM DENCHEL FORD COUNTRY (630 WINE COUNTRY RD, PROSSER, WA 99350, (833)685-9449) HOWEVER, THERE WAS NO RESPONSE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 120,000.
