Consumer Description

THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT DOOR WILL NOT LATCH CLOSED, EVEN WHEN LOCKED. WHEN THE DOOR IS PUSHED CLOSED, IT BOUNCES BACK AT THE CLOSER AND WILL NOT CLOSE AT ALL. THERE WAS NOTHING IMPEDING THE DOOR TO CLOSE, IT SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING. THE INITIAL ISSUE HAPPENED WHEN THE CAR WAS STATIONARY, BUT WILL FLY OPEN WHEN CAR IS IN MOTION, ESPECIALLY WHEN TURNING. WE HAD TO ACTIVELY HOLD IT CLOSED TO DRIVE IT TO THE SERVICE CENTER. THIS VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY SERVICED UNDER THE 2017 DOOR LATCH RECALL IN MAY 2019, AND THE REPAIR DIDN'T LAST A YEAR. *TR
