Consumer Description

I WAS AT A LIGHT ON FRIDAY AND MY CAR JUST TURNED OFF.I HAD TO PUSH IT TO THE GASTION. WHEN MY MECHANIC CAME TO LOOK AT IT ON FRIDAY HE SAID THAT MY ENGINE LOCKED I NEED A NEW ENGINE. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THERE WASN'T A RECALL ON MY VIN NUMBER BUT THERE WAS RECALLS ON 2013 AND 2014 KIA SORENTO AND KIA SOLES . I HAVE A FRIEND OF MINE THAT HAS A 2013 KIA SORENTO AND HE HAD THE SAME ISSUE WITH HIS ENGINE. IS THE GDI ENGINES AND THAT'S THE ENGINE I HAVE AND IS NOT REPLACEABLE THAT IS SO MESSED UP. THERE WAS A REPLACEMENT ON ALL ENGINES OF GDI.WHY THIS HAPPENING TO ME WHEN I HAVE 6 MONTHS LEFT OF PAYMENTS AND IT'S $3,500 TO REPLACE AN ENGINE THIS IS REALLY ABSURD. *TR
