Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL GRINDING SOUND WHEN THE STEERING WAS TURNED TO THE RIGHT. THE STEERING WHEEL WAS TURNED TO THE CENTER AND THE SOUND WAS NO LONGER EVIDENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO VANN DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM LOCATED AT (899 S. DELSEA DR, VINELAND, NJ 08360) TO BE DIAGNOSED WHICH WAS STILL PENDING. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED THAT THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO THE RACK AND PINION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 115,000.
