Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE SHIFTING GEARS THE VEHICLE STALLED AND HESITATED TO CHANGE GEARS MAKING THE VEHICLE LAG WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO PETERS HONDA OF NASHUA LOCATED AT (300 AMHERST ST, NASHUA, NH 03063) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED THE FAILURE TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 04V176000 (POWER TRAIN) HOWEVER VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000. *LN*JB
