Consumer Description

THE BATTERY DIES AFTER THE CAR IS OFF AND PARKED FOR 1-2 DAYS. I HAVE REPLACED THE BATTERY TWICE IN 2 YEARS AND HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. IT IS A DEFECT WITH SYNC WITH MY FORD MODULE. ONCE DUE TO THIS THE CAR DIED WHILE DRIVING AND I AM AFRAID IT COULD HAPPEN AGAIN. MANY OTHER OWNERS HAVE THE VERY SAME PROBLEM AND FORD AND THE FORD DEALERSHIP PRETENDS THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT AND ACT AS IF IT IS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE. THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL. I AM STILL MAKING PAYMENTS FOR THIS CAR AND I HAVE TO GET IT CHARGED EVERY DAY AND DUE TO THE PANDEMIC THIS HAS CAUSED EXTREME HARDSHIP, WHEN IT IS MORE IMPORTANT TO HAVE A RELIABLE CAR. I HAVE CHARGED THE BATTERY OVER 30 TIMES. THE CAR GOES DARK AND UNABLE TO OPEN THE CAR WITH THE REMOTE AND HAVE TO USE THE KEY UNDER THE DOOR HANDLE. PLEASE HELP, I DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY FORD FOR A DEFECT THAT THEY CAUSED IN THE MODULE THAT DRAINS THE BATTERY. *JS
