Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 KIA SOUL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS A HOLE IN THE ENGINE BLOCK. THE CONTACT REACHED OUT TO THE THIRD-PARTY WARRANTY COMPANY AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OVER 100,000 MILES AND NO LONGER COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. ALLENTOWN KIA (2350 LEHIGH ST, ALLENTOWN, PA 18103 610-228-2727) AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 103,100.
