Consumer Description

TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V383000 (AIR BAGS) HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE RECALL REPAIR WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ROBERT BROGDEN BUICK GMC LOCATED AT (1500 E SANTA FE ST, OLATHE, KS 66061), EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT STATED THE AIR BAG AND CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT WERE ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE MILAGE WAS UNKNOWN. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
