Consumer Description

CAR SHUT OFF IN MIDDLE OF ROAD WHILE DRIVING. I WAS STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. LUCKILY, I WAS ON A SECONDARY ROAD AND NOT ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY AS I NORMALLY AM. THIS PUT MY SAFETY AS WELL AS THE SAFETY OF MY FAMILY AT RISK. CAR WOULD NOT RESTART AND COULD NOT BE MOVED OUT OF THE ROAD. APPEARS TO BE RELATED TO NHTSA RECALL 19V-813. NO REMEDY IS AVAILABLE. DODGE WANTS ME TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED AT MY COST TO A LOCAL DEALERSHIP. MY HUSBAND TRIED TO REPLACE RELAY BUT PART GIVEN BY AUTO STORE DOESN'T MATCH UP EXACTLY. RECALL WAS FROM 11/14/2019. WHY HAS THE REMEDY NOT BEEN RELEASED? WILL IT TAKE A DEATH FOR SOMEONE TO TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY? I DO NOT FEEL THAT I SHOULD HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED AND DIAGNOSED.
