Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 TOYOTA TACOMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED. THE CONTACT NOTICED CORROSION ON THE SUBFRAME OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONDITION WORSENED OVER TIME DUE TO ROAD SALT IN SNOWY CONDITIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DOLAN TOYOTA LOCATED AT (2100 KIETZKE LN, RENO, NV 89502 (775) 826-2750) TO HAVE THE LEAF SPRINGS REPLACED UNDER RECALL. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE RUST ON THE SUBFRAME OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT SUBJECTED TO A RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 125,000.
