Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HIS WIFE WAS DRIVING 75 MPH, THE FORWARD COLLISION SENSOR BECAME INOPERABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ST CHARLES CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM DEALER, (1611 E MAIN ST, ST. CHARLES, IL 60174) AND WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FORWARD COLLISION SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE ISSUE WAS DUE TO NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. THERE WAS NO ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 120,000.
