TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. WHILE DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS THE VEHICLE LOST MOTIVE POWER WITH THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THERE WAS AN UNKNOWN DEFECTIVE WIRING HARNESS THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. A LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. NO ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V813000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 148,000. VIN TOOLS CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
