Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE LOW BEAM HEADLAMPS WERE EXTREMELY DIM WHICH CAUSED A DRIVING HAZZARD AT NIGHT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED DURING THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT REFERENCED THE FAILURE TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 12V553000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING). ADDITIONALLY, UPON START UP ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESPOND. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SERVICE TRANSMISSION WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO BE DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURE WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
