TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FOCUS. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V735000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). WHILE, DRIVING AT SLOW SPEEDS UP HILLS THE GEARS SHIFTED ROUGHLY. THE CONTACT STATED THE FUEL TANK FAILED TO TAKE THE RECOMMENDED FUEL. WHILE DRIVING WITH A HALF TANK OF FUEL THE GAUGE DROPPED TO EMPTY. THE FUEL AND ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO KOCH 33 FORD 3810 HECKTOWN RD, EASTON, PA 18045(610) 810-1145 BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 166,688.
