Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. WHILE EXITING A PARKING LOT, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED WITHOUT WARNING. AS A RESULT, THE DRIVER CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED FOOT AND BACK INJURIES, BUT DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE OTHER DRIVER WAS NOT INJURED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
