Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD ESCAPE. AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED, IT OVERHEATED. THE CONTACT ADDED ANTIFREEZE AND NOTICED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE AND TIRE PRESSURE WARNING INDICATORS WERE ILLUMINATED. IN ADDITION, THE PULL OVER SAFELY MESSAGE WAS DISPLAYED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO JOE MACHENS FORD (1911 W WORLEY ST, COLUMBIA, MO 65203) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE BLOCK WAS CRACKED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
