Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE OIL INDICATOR BEGAN TO ILLUMINATE. THE CONTACT HAD TO ADD OIL TO THE VEHICLE EACH TIME THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO ERNIE PALMER TOYOTA (1290 CASSAT AVE, JACKSONVILLE, FL 32205, (904) 389-4561) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS A WARRANTY ENHANCE PROGRAM FOR THE OIL CONSUMPTION. THE CONTACT WAS REFERRED TO THE CORPORATE OFFICE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THE WARRANTY FOR THE PROGRAM HAD EXPIRED. NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 146,285. *JS
