Consumer Description

WHEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE IT LOSES THE ABILITY TO ACCELERATE AND ONLY ALLOWS ME TO TRY TO PULL OFF THE ROAD TO A SAFE PLACE WITH THE MOMENTUM OF THE VEHICLE BEFORE IT LOST POWER. IF I AM NOT AT A PLACE WHERE I CAN IMMEDIATELY PULL OFF SAFELY I AM STRANDED IN TRAFFIC. WHEN THIS OCCURS I AM ABLE TO TURN OFF MY VEHICLE FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME AND WHEN I RESTART IT, THE VEHICLE RESUMES NORMAL OPERATION UNTIL THIS HAPPENS AGAIN. IT HAS HAPPENED IN VARIOUS WEATHER CONDITIONS AND AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. WHEN THE ACCELERATION IS LOST THE POWERTRAIN FAULT LIGHT COMES ON.
