Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO HAVE FRONT AND REAR SHOCKS INSTALLED. THE MECHANIC INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT DUE TO THE SEVERE RUST DAMAGE TO THE SUBFRAME, IT WAS NOT RECOMMENDED TO HAVE THE SHOCKS REPLACED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT PASS STATE INSPECTION WITHIN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 180,000. *LN*JB
