Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 FORD F-250. WHEN THE CONTACT ENTERED THE VEHICLE, HE SMELLED DIESEL FUEL EMITTING FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER AND NOTICED FUEL LEAKING FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT DISCOVERED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V778000 (FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL). THE CONTACT CALLED FIVE STAR FORD (6618 NE LOOP 820, NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX 76180, (817) 500-0096) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THEY WERE UNAWARE OF A RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THEY WERE AWARE OF THE RECALL; HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 81,200.
