TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 BUICK LUCERNE. WHILE DRIVING FOR OVER AN HOUR, THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AND THE FUEL PUMP FUSE BURNED OUT. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 9-5583355801. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THE CONTACT TO CALL A LOCAL DEALER TO HAVE THE VEHICLE DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 119,000.
