Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY. WHILE DRIVING, THE ENGINE MISFIRED AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO DECELERATE AND ACCELERATE IMPROPERLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN UNKNOWN DEALER WHERE THE SPARK PLUGS WERE REPLACED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE PISTON RINGS WERE FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 109,000.
