TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY SHUT OFF AND THE 'TRANSMISSION NOT IN PARK' MESSAGE DISPLAYED. AFTER STOPPING ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, THE ENGINE WAS RESTARTED AND THE VEHICLE OPERATED NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. FORD OF MURFREESBORO (1550 NW BROAD ST, MURFREESBORO, TN) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE, BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 138,000.
