Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD EDGE. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH AND MAKING A TURN, THE VEHICLE SPUTTERED AND JERKED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT CHANGED THE SPARKS PLUGS AND COILS AND NOTICED THE COILS WERE MELTED AND HAD BURST. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 218,000.
