Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 ACURA RLX. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE POWER ALL WHEEL STEERING (PAWS) FEATURE MALFUNCTIONED. WHEN DRIVING STRAIGHT, THE REAR WHEELS WOULD ERRONEOUSLY TURN AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO SUDDENLY JERK AND FISHTAIL. DURING THE FAILURE, THE DRIVER LOST CONTROL OF THE STEERING AND THE VEHICLE DROVE INTO THE OPPOSITE LANE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CLASSIC ACURA (1000 INTERSTATE HWY 10, BEAUMONT, TX), BUT THE FAILURES WERE UNABLE TO BE DUPLICATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: [XXX]. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.
