TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION UNINTENTIONALLY SWITCHED INTO NEUTRAL. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, BUT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE MOVED THE GEAR SHIFTER INTO NEUTRAL AND BACK INTO DRIVE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 52,000.
