Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER 300. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED, THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL RUFFLING NOISE AND COOLANT WAS LEAKING FROM THE HOOD. THE CONTACT OPENED THE HOOD AND NOTICED THAT THE COOLING FAN WAS SHATTERED AND LODGED INTO THE RADIATOR. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT CALLED FRISCO CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (9640 TX-121, FRISCO, TX 75035, (214) 390-7543) AND INFORMED THEM OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 260,000.
