Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO DRIVE, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE "SERVICE NEEDED" MESSAGE WAS DISPLAYED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO COVINGTON HONDA (1915 HOT SPRINGS RD, COVINGTON, VA 24426, (800) 234-7853) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE WIRING HARNESS WAS DESTROYED BY RODENTS. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED WITH A NEW WIRING HARNESS AND RODENT PROOF TAPE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED, BUT DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 5,000. THE VIN WAS INVALID.
